Released on October 16, 2005.Egger - Force Majeure
Zunior head honcho steps out from behind the computer keyboard to put together an album with his new band Egger.
Force Majeure, the debut album from Egger, is a 10-song platter recorded in Toronto by Don Kerr. The musicians playing on the album include Paul Linklater, Doug Friesen and Don Kerr.
Collectively they are known as The Scribbled Out Man, but individually they have played with artists including
Ron Sexsmith, Peter Elkas, and the Rheostatics. All songs on the album were penned by Dave, but it is the skilled mojo of these egg-men that makes the music soar.

|
| "Opening track "Just Cause You Can" sounds just like an Inbreds song that could have been. You're led to believe they'll continue in a lo-fi
style of indie Can-rock, but they don't for long. "Intelligent Weakling" is an instrumental jam that builds up to a raucous conclusion, leading into the grinding, heavy-handed "Street Fighter" and
the somber horns on "Mr. Upside Down"...overall, each spin brings out something new to enjoy." - Chart

|
| "The Owl floats along on O'Neill's sincerity and his significant compositional gifts - harmonies pile on thick, melodies duck and weave,...and the thick knots of song work themselves out
into something truly memorable...the clearest winner is "She Believes in Me," which stands as one of the sweetest songs in O'Neill's corpus, which is, of course, known for its sweetness...
above all else, The Owl feels like a quick telephone call from an old friend who might just have others to catch up with." - The Ratio
