Thanks to everyone that came down to the show last night at the Horseshoe! I
think we lost a few people because of the weather, but it was a great show.
The Mountainside Band got things started right with some crunchy rock. The Kelele

The Scribbled Out Man really blew everyone away...a real head turner. The Dinner
is Ruined started with jingle bells and ended with distortion...perfect. Mike
O Neill did not disappoint with a full set of songs from both solo records,
and an encore of What A Wonderful World. Just so you can see what it
looked like, I ve posted a few picture postcards here - #1,

- The Wooden Stars came to me in a dream
New today to Zunior.com...all three albums by Ottawa s Wooden
Stars. It was back in 1997 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, when I awoke to sounds
to fog-drenched horns of a ship in Halifax harbour. For some reason, my brain
magically blended the horns into the beginning of a song I d heard called
The
Festival Of Fire, from their album Mardi

- Photo sharing with open standards!
Our weekend website for you this time around is Flickr.
A simple and easy to use way to share photos. We like the open approach they
take the problem of finding an intuitive and free photo sharing tool. There
are all kinds of them out there, but this one is very blog-like. Maybe you can
come down to show on the 22nd at the Horseshoe, take some digital pics, and
post em on your Flickr page.
Do it and I ll link em up here. The show is going to be great!

John is an old friend that used to play in a great band called People From Earth.
Ben Gunning headlined

month.
