Wax Mannequin was born in the smoke and industry of Hamilton; a damaged, underdog town; a perfect breeding ground for strange, variant things. Incorporating folk, scrappy prog-metal and a tireless creative ethic, Wax infused his local influences with road-broken experience to forge something unsettlingly new. Solo (accompanied by heavy devices and an angry, nylon-string guitar) or band-backed (with Mark Raymond on bass and Aidan Campbell on percussion), he has toured incessantly within Canada over the past six years, with more recent forays into Europe and Australia. The Zunior Label is very proud to release Wax Mannequin's latest album, Saxon.

Music From Five Hole: Tales of Hockey Erotica is the the debut album from an all-star rock crew that features ex-Rheostatics Dave Bidini and Martin Tielli, fused with indie heroes Selina Martin, Ford Pier and Barry Mirochnik. As exhilarating as winning game seven, more off-the-wall than Don Cherry's fashion sense, and naughty enough to draw a five-minute major: Music From Five Hole: Tales of Hockey Erotica is a musical collection of engrossing, tender and hilarious songs about the steamy underbelly of our national sport.

The Violet Archers are seasoned-veterans who know how to make magic. Case in point, helmsman Tim Vesely spent two decades as a revered singer and multi-instrumentalist for Canadian rock icons, The Rheostatics. Furthermore, on Sunshine At Night he is joined by acclaimed singer and pianist, Ida Nilsen (Great Aunt Ida, Buttless Chaps), drummer Camille Giroux (Sarah Harmer), bassist Scott Remila (Raising The Fawn) and guitarist Yawd Sylvester (Wayne Omaha). Together the band has crafted a stunning sophomore album of vibrant and lush indie rock.
