New Releases - Matthew Barber, Zeus, The Stance - Tuesday 23 February, 2010 It's another great week for new releases with some Kinks-infused rock from Zeus and some Stones-fired grinders from The Stance. Matthew Barber got a nice tip of the hat in the Globe and Mail today - "The Toronto singer-songwriter has made an assured record, one with varying tempos and heartfelt moods that is smartly ordered and marked by the sharp marriage of melody and word – I hear Jackson Browne, Loudon Wainwright III and Liam Finn, I really do."
